GemePro

The GemePro TM is a professional color analysis and communication system for colored gemstones and fancy colored diamonds that was created for users who require a detailed color breakdown. The user can precisely define and communicate the color of a gem.

The system includes more than 4,200 gem color variables stored within its database, each of which can be reproduced in 15 standard gem shapes.

The GemePro includes the GemeSampler TM , which is software that scans the digital images of a gem in 2,500- 10,000 subsections, defining for each its specific hue and corresponding RGB (red/green/blue) proportions. The sampler then generates a digital strip, or "Color DNA" upon which the full complement of colors visible in the gem are arranged, resulting in a "fingerprint" that is unique to that specific gem, meaning that it may be used later for identification purposes.
